JANUARY 2013 - PINEWOOD DERBY

January marked the inaugural run of Pack 4031’s Derby Magic Track and it was a huge success.   With over 30 scouts participating, heats were arranged by den awarding medals for 1st through 3rd place by the fastest time.  The four fastest cars in the Pack advanced to the Pack Finals to compete for trophies.  Also, the largest trophy of the night was awarded for Best Sportsmanship.  As voted on by the adults attending the event, this was awarded to the scout that best displayed the values of cub scouting by showing compassion, a positive attitude, and respect while cheering on his fellow scouts.
